Is there a way to easily make "global" changes to multiple existing templates to keep certain settings consistent? I have several templates that predate my administration that I would like to standardize so that I don't have to recreate documents in a new standardized template.

    Hi Erin,

There isn't any way to make changes to multiple templates at once. The alternative would be to create one new template and create new documents by importing the steps from old documents into new ones, but I'm sure that would require significantly more effort.

Thanks for the quick reply Chandra. The other issue with that would be that the original URL for that help document would be "lost" because the GUID or LOID would be different, and any users that had a shortcut to that URL would now get a "nothing published" or "document not found" page.
