Unable to update sims in course

Symptoms

• Updating sim displays no messages, but status remains "Not Current".
• Updating sim displays an error message "An unknown error has occurred that cannot be recovered from. The application will now shutdown."
• Error message when embedding new sim: "Publish failed".

Environment

• Product: uPerform
• Version: Cloud (5.43.149 to 5.43.153)
• Management Center Document Properties enabled (as opposed to legacy Document Properties that are managed in the uPerform template)

Resolution

This defect was fixed in the 5.43.154 update.

Cause

This was identified as a defect.

Workaround

1. Open each sim to be updated in the editor.
2. Check in the sim.  You will be asked to review properties.  Do so and check in.
3. Once you have done that for each sim, you can update in the course.
