Adding a ink to internal uPerform Learning Library content in feedback reply runs into error

Symptoms

An author or administrator replies to feedback for a document in the Document Library and adds a link to internal Learning Library content (e.g. tip sheet) to the reply and clicks save. When editing the link before clicking on Send, uPerform removes the domain from the URL. Clicking on Send results in an error.
